Did you know that the term kWh stands for kilowatt hour,
the standard unit of measure for electricity consumption. One kWh is equivalent
to 1000 watt hours or 3.6 megajoules.
*Customers will receive 25% savings on their electricity supply through May 31, 2013, based on a comparison of Duquesne Light's current Rate RS Price to Compare of 9.32¢ per kWh vs. Direct Energy's 12-month rate of 6.99¢ per kWh. Direct Energy will adjust its rate of 6.99¢ per kwh in June 2012 when Duquesne Light changes their rate to maintain a guaranteed 25% savings through the end of the customer's initial 12-month term. Direct Energy's rate includes energy and transmission charges and excludes taxes and other utility-related charges. There are no early cancellation fees associated with this rate plan. Savings are not guaranteed after May 31, 2013.
